Cascade Platinum Pacs Review and Contest

*This is a sponsored post. All words are my own.*

It's totally normal to see me running scalding hot water over my dirty dishes before placing them in my dishwasher. I do the pre-rinse thing because frankly I can't stand to see another crusty, still dirty plate or utensil make its way OUT of the dishwasher after being washed. But once I was given the chance to try out the new Cascade Platinum Pacs I held my breath while I placed dishes i the dishwasher after they sat overnight in the kitchen sink after a messy dinner. I'll tell you, I didn't have high hopes, but I must tell you, I was pleasantly surprised!
Did I mention how pretty the Platinum Pac is? It kinda reminds me of Mardi Gras! It also smells amazing. The lovely lemon scent is divine, it makes piling the dishes in the dishwasher slightly more pleasant just with the smell. All those wonderful colors have a purpose too. Combined they deliver exceptional shine AND help keep the dishwasher sparkling!

T-O-D-A-Y!

I breathe a sigh of relief as I am getting ready to finally head to bed. Today was a productive day! Todd and I got the basement all organized and cleaned up. This may not seem like a big deal to most, but if you had seen it before...PHEW!...it was quite a mess! Todd's mom came over and entertained Jonah while we were working, so he had fun. Well, as much fun as he could have since he is either sick (runny nose, slight cough) or he is REALLY teething. Not too sure yet, guess we will find out in the coming days. Then my mom came over and we did some running around while Todd spend some daddy/son time with Jonah. We went to Carter's where Grandma Mimi spent too much money on all of her grandkids (she's got 3 under the age of 2!). Then we went a few other places where I got a pretty cool shelving unit for Jonah's toy area of the living room (it is awesome!). I also got some more supplies for the birthday party invites and the party favors. I think this is going to turn out to be a pretty fun party, things are FINALLY coming together!

So sleepy, more later.
