The Elephant DVD by Eric Herman review/giveaway

The kids have grown up listening to music. Whether it is a lullaby CD at bedtime, Jack's Big Music Show on Nick Jr, or even my very own New Kids on the Block CD while cruisin' in the car, you can definitely tell my kids were born with the rhythm! And since Todd and I were both very active in our high school days with a variety of musical activities (I was in marching band and orchestra, while he was on stage in the musical productions), this certainly makes us very proud parents!

So of course, when we got the chance to preview The Elephant DVD by one of our favorite kids' musician's Eric Herman, I knew from the get-go these kids of mine would be hooked! And boy, were they!

I know, not the best shot, but they were jumping and dancing and singing along to their newest favorite song and video "Ants in your Pants" from the DVD. This is the one song they were familiar with, since we are often browsing YouTube for fun kids videos and this is certainly one we were watching over and over and over again. And with these scorching hot and humid midwestern days we have been having around here, this is the only way my kids get honest to goodness exercise (it's dangerously too hot to go outside).

My other favorites on the DVD are "In the Box" (a much more modern "clean up" song than I have been using, more mom-friendly too) and "The Tale of the Sun and the Moon" (a cute song to cuddle up with the kiddos to). Jonah loves "Snow Day" and Lily's favorite is "The Elephant Song".

There truly is not a boring track on the DVD. Any young kid would love to dance and sing to this DVD atleast 5 times a day, and since the songs aren't annoying or corny, parents won't mind it being on either.
