Oh No....Teething ALREADY?

Yup.

I am 99% sure Lily is teething already. She usually is an EXCEPTIONAL night time sleeper, waking only once to eat, around 4am. Last night she was up, over and over and over....crying on anf off. It wasn't until after a dose of Tylenol did she sleep for over 3 hours straight.

I remember these days with Jonah, and how they just sort of faded away long after he turned 1 (I don't think he has his 2 year molars yet....). Now, I feel like I should have rejoiced the day he "stopped" teething.

Time goes by so fast. It feels like only yesterday I was mama to only Jonah, not even pregnant yet with Lily. I was able to plan our days. Run errands. Go shopping. Do fun stuff on a dime (as long as it wasn't during nap time of course!) I adjusted to having my days revolve around me to having them revolve around him. And as time went on, it was okay, and I barely even remembered what it was like to NOT have him around.

Why does it seem SO different with Lily? Why does it seem like on one hand, the time is slowly barely even creeping by, but on the other hand being utterly shocked that she is already over 5 months old?

It just seems so different with her, but I can't put my finger on exactly why that is.

I feel the same way with two. With one, I took him everywhere with me. You can't do that with two. I have decided that I am going to look for a babysitter for 2 hours a week, just to give me a morning to get somethings done and have me time. I think it might be a good thing for both of us. Good luck with the teething.

Aw! My youngest is 7 months and now getting his first tooth, scooting, and totally growing up far too fast! I feel ya.
