I wanted those posts to be introspective and heartwarming and relatable.
But I have decided that I don't think those kind of intelligent and intellectual posts are in me. I am far more comfortable coming here to vent about my day, or brag about something awesome that Jonah has done, or talk about my pregnancy and the soon to be birth of my new baby girl, or life events in general.
So that's what you get folks. Nothing fancy or sugar-coated here. Nothing so smart sounding that your head will spin. I am me, boring ol' me. Hope that's enough for you to make you stick around. And if it's not, sorry to disappoint.
Now, back to coloring with the boy...one of my most favorite activities to do with him.

That is exactly what I think about my own blog. Sometimes I want to write big, moving pieces. But what satisfies me the most is just writing about the day to day with my kids. I want to keep those memories close forever and my blog is my means for doing that. Once I accepted that, the pressure to do more with it fell away. Congrats on finding that peace!
