It's a girl?

So, it's been less than 48 hours since I found out that this little baby growing in my belly is a baby girl. And I must say, I don't think it has quite sunk it yet.

Of course, I have been browsing fabric patterns for her new room (I have decided that I don't want to spend the hundreds of dollars it costs for a crib set, so weare going simple, and my mom and I are sewing some of the items ourselves. We are going to need to make bumper pads, a window valance, and a lampshade. I think we are just going to go plain on the actual lamp, the crib sheet, and the rug. I am hoping to do a green, pink, and brown theme, and am finding that those colors are quite popular, so I'm sure I won't have a hard time finding items to dec out her room. I also plan to use my very own photography as artwork in her room. Not sure if I am going to stick with nature, which I think I do best, or try and do some family shots, or hey...maybe even a combination of the two.

Today, my mom took Jonah and I over to the Carter's Outlet in the town over from us to do a little shopping. You know grandma's, they gotta buy. buy.buy for their new little grandkids, so knowing Lily is a girl makes the shopping even more special for her. Not to mention, Jonah was in need of some warmer and bigger pajama's as well as some long sleeved tops. So after a little bit of shopping we headed back home, because Jonah was getting super sleepy. He even fell asleep in the car, with a chicken nugget in his hands. Too cute.
