A Divided Household

On Mama Speaks, Steph did a review on a company called Sandbox Threads. They have tons of awesome shirts for your little hipster and I just wanted to share a few of them that they have. Now, in regards to my previous post about the 2008 Presidential Candidates, these shirts are quite fitting.

You see, in our house we are a bit divided when it comes to politics. The thing is, it hasn't always been that way. When Todd and I met, our common bond was George W. Bush, but as the years went by and I began to grow, my political views seemed to sort of shift. But one thing that I don't like to do is lock myself in to one political party. I would much rather lock myself in to a particular political candidate. And this campaign season, I have done just that. And so has Todd.

I must say, I think it would be pretty awesome if we bought these 2 shirts for Jonah, one for me and one for his Daddy. Can you figure out which one's which?!?!

Be sure to visit Mama Speaks (a review blog by mom's for mom's) and Sandbox Threads (for some super hip shirts for you super hipster).

Uh...ok. :) Can't think of a single thing I agree with him on (except maybe the environment). Being against every value I hold dear is kinda a deal breaker for me in a candidate. I need more than just a good speaker in my president.

Oh and unless you are a registered Dem, you can't vote for him yet! :)

That is SO funny, my hubby and I basically won't speak about politics without arguing. :) I love the Obama shirt!

Yowzer Arianne! Passion girl! ;)

I'm with you on no party affiliation. I understand the premise it just doesn't seem to fly with me. This race has been hard for me, I have a candidate we have supported financially, personally, etc but he's a long shot. Still I agree with 99% of his foundation and don't feel energized about anyone else. I thought for a bit I'd go with Obama if he made the dem ticket (the lesser of "evils" so to speak) but at this point I think Im with my guy even if it means a write in.

I didn't mean to sound as harsh as that did, sorry! Imagine me saying it in person, and laughing and smiling. :)

Oh and I don't like my choices for candidates at all, by the way. It would be pretty sweet to have a shirt with a cute rhyme--that Obama shirt is adorable!
