My Random Act of Kindness

I am a huge Twitter-holic. That's right, I am addicted Twitter. I am on Twitter numerous times a day, probably more than is normal. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I always check my twitter page via my iPhone. Like I said, I am addicted.

Anyhow, tonight will be my second#GNO on Twitter (I'm not even gonna go there, if you don't use Twitter, you will have no idea what I am talking about...and if you DO use Twitter, then you already know what's up!) and in order to participate I need to post one Random Act of Kindness that I plan on doing in the coming week. I have though long and hard about what I will do and decided I will keep it simple this week.

I have been little miss Suzy Homemaker this week. Between making my homemade christmas gifts, making a random apple pie or peach cobbler, and today, making sugar cookies for my young-at-heart husband, who loves to decorate them, I have decided I am going to make up a second batch of cookies and take them over to the Salvation Army guy who rings the bell at the grocery store by my house. They always stand there, in the cold, ringing the bell and saying Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas, and I wonder how many people really respond to them. I mean, I always do, but how many people just walk on by without a second glance.

So tomorrow, on my way to work, I am gonna swing by and drop off some of my delicious cookies (ok, so they are the premade ones that are already cut out, and all I have to do is cook them for 9 minutes and toss on a few sprinkles, but still. I think it's the thought that counts.

Now, on to my GNO....woohoo, planning on talking with some fun gals tonight...you should join us!!!

Awesome RAK idea!!! Next, could you send some cookies my way? I'm going to a cookie exchange tomorrow and am so not in the mood to bake LOL! But really... that is a great RAK. So thoughtful. Thanks for being one of the first to submit. We will get your post up on the site soon. Also, if you want to share the challenge with anyone, the link is: http://mommygossip-cares.blogspot.com/2008/12/gnos-happiness-headline-challenge.html.

Thanks so much & have a great day.

Great idea! How did it go? I bet you warmed their hearts and their bellies. :)

How are you doing? I've been thinking about you the last couple of weeks. You had such a hard time during those early days of your pregnancy. I hope it's going a lot better for you now.
